Hello and welcome!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you can take a nice long visit, and that you will come back often.

COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC...

November 2010 was the snowiest November on record for the Palouse! Now we are in 2011 and a very slow spring. Not much new work to show - but I hope that will change soon! Please check back.

hand woven wearable art collar

Hand woven wearable art collar.
More info about and images of this collar in the 'wear it!' section of this site. Please let me know what you think of it, by emailing me.

My logo design was chosen as winner for the Pullman Civic Theatre - Hooray!! Went to see Alice In Wonderland - it was sooo fun!!

So, because I have all the free time in the world, (ha!!) I am trying my hand at ATCs. An Artist Trading Card group has formed between a bunch of paper people and a bunch of fabric people, and then of course some in-be-tweeners. Paper Pals in Pullman and The Quilted Moose in Colfax are helping to keep the group organized. Here are a few of my cards....enjoy!

Glass demonstration day at the Dahmen Barn, was Saturday April 17, 2010. Several artists were on hand to demonstrate their techniques and to sell finished pieces.

You can see pictures of my process posted here. If you would like to take a one-on-one bead making class with me at the Barn, please let me know.

Locker hook boxes on display in my studio at the Dahmen Barn. Come in and take a look. I am in the studio most Thursdays and Sundays.

Something pretty just because... Pretty drop caps are so sweet, aren't they? Click on the S and you too can have pretty dropcaps for use on your own site or blog. There are lots to choose from so you are sure to find something you like. How cool is that?

Batik Classes...

For more information on batik classes, or to make a request to schedule batik class, please email me. Images from the last batik class I taught at the Barn are posted here. Nice article in the Seattle Times

To promote tourism on the Palouse, this article mentions featured attractions of several towns in the area and specifically has nice things to say about Uniontown and the Dahmen Barn. Read it for yourself...

Be sure to check out Artisanbarn.org

Interested in upcoming events at the Dahmen Barn? Visit the Barn's website and look at the calendar page. Great way to keep up to date on arts related events happening at the Barn behind the wheel fence, in Uniontown, Washington. I am in my studio at the Barn most Thursdays and Sundays. If you are in the Uniontown, WA area, hope to see you there sometime!

Be sure to check out Colfaxarts.com

You don't have to be an artist, just be interested in getting together with people from the Colfax, WA area. Young or old, everyone is welcome!! The Arts Council meets the third Tuesday of each month, unless moved due to a holiday. Meetings begin at 6:30 pm and are usually held at the Whitman County Library, Colfax Branch, 120 S. Main Street in Colfax, Washington. Until the remodel of the library is complete, meetings are taking place at the Port of Whitman office on Mill Street.

I would love to hear from you!

If you have any questions or comments, about anything you see — or would like to see — here, please contact me or email me at email@tracycreative.com.
